HEIC to JPG / PNG

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on every iPhone since iOS 11. It stores beautiful photos at roughly half the size of a JPG — which is great until you try to use them anywhere outside the Apple ecosystem. Windows 10 and 11 need a paid codec, Photoshop versions before 2023 refuse to open them, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint can't embed them, most email clients strip them, and many e-commerce platforms reject them at upload. The result: a folder of iPhone photos you can see on your phone but can't actually use.

This tool converts HEIC and HEIF images to either JPG or PNG with a single click. Pick JPG when you want the smallest possible file — perfect for photographs, social uploads, and email attachments. JPG is the universal photo format and opens on absolutely everything, from a 20-year-old printer driver to the latest browser. Pick PNG when you want a lossless copy with no recompression artifacts, or when the source HEIC contains transparency (rare, but possible with Live Photos or composite shots).

Conversion runs on our server using ImageMagick, the same engine that powers professional photo pipelines. EXIF metadata such as orientation is read so portrait photos stay upright in the output. JPG quality is fully adjustable with a slider so you can dial in the right tradeoff between file size and visual fidelity — most photos look identical to the source at quality 92. Your file is processed in memory and never stored.
