Replacing a single color in an image used to mean opening Photoshop, building a selection from a color range, feathering it, and praying the edges looked right. This tool does the same thing in one click: pick the color you want to replace, pick the new color (or choose transparency), and download a recolored PNG or JPG.
The tool is powered by ImageMagick's color-opaque operation with a tunable fuzz tolerance. Fuzz controls how forgiving the match is — a low value matches only the exact pixel color, while a higher value also catches near-matching shades. That's exactly what you need for JPG photos where compression noise spreads a single color across dozens of subtly different RGB values, or for anti-aliased PNG edges where the color fades into surrounding pixels.
Pair it with PNG transparency to instantly knock out a solid background (white product shot → transparent PNG), recolor flat-shaded icons or logos for a new brand palette, swap accent colors on UI screenshots before posting them in a blog, or quickly fix a stray color in a design comp. Output is always either a clean PNG (with optional transparency) or a smaller JPG for photo-style sources.
Everything runs on our servers in isolated memory and your image is discarded immediately after the response. Uploads up to 10 MB are supported; very large images are auto-downscaled to 4000 px on the longest side so the operation stays inside our edge-function CPU budget and the recolor returns in a couple of seconds.
